It's a...

GIRL....We had another U/S on Monday and, much to Adam's chagrin, we are having a girl. Actually Adam is super excited, because now he gets to have daddy's girl. He keeps joking about when he will need to get his gun permit to keep the boys away. He also thinks she will get away with everything, since he is more of the disciplinarian than me and thinks she'll be able to weasel her way out of anything with him. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Thanksgiving

I'm a little late on this but wanted to post some pictures from Thanksgiving. Addison had a great time hanging out with his cousins and Grandpa. As you can see, he and Elizabeth had a great time playing the organ and he just loved cuddling up with Grandpa after a big Thanksgiving dinner.

Apple Orchard Fun

Last week, we went to the Apple Orchard/ Pumpkin Patch.  It was fairly late in the season so not too many Apple's or Pumpkin's left, but Addison liked the train the best anyways.  He also loved the Apple Donuts.  What a healthy dinner.  Yum!!

Good Test Results

Wanted to wait to update on my test last week until I got all the results. Based on both the U/S and my blood test, our odds of having a baby with Downs went from 1:66 to 1:1300 and of having a baby with T-16 or T-18 from 1:119 to 1:2361. Since that test came back good, we are finally starting to relax and enjoy this pregnancy (or at least as much as I can since eating is not very enjoyable right now. :-) I still have to post some pictures of the Apple Orchard last week. I'll be back later to do that.

Hopefully Third Times A Charm

After a year of trying and my HSG a few weeks ago, we finally got a BFP yesterday. We are cautiously optimistic and taking it one day at a time. We are thinking it might be a girl this time. On the way home from vacation and totally unprompted, Addison said that he wants to have a sister, so we are taking it as a sign that we are having a girl this time. Totally unscientific I know but still....

Tests, Tests and more Tests

Had my HSG yesterday and everything looked good. My dr. gave me paperwork to get my FSH levels tested on CD3 of my next cycle if I'm not pg and also gave me the name of an RE to see. So, all in all, it was a good appt.

The Joys of TTC

Called my OB this morning since we are going on 1 yr since we lost Jack and were thinking we'd be pregnant again by now. I'm going to be going in for an HSG later this week to hopefully find out if anything is wrong. My OB doesn't think anything is wrong and that it's just taking a little longer this time, but is the greatest and is willing to do whatever I need to feel better.
